The Polar Express

Well, it's almost Christmas already and it has been busy and crazy and so much fun! The highlight of the month thus far was definitely the trip up to North Carolina to ride the Polar Express! We traveled up to NC with some very good friends, making it a very full weekend- full of food, fun and great memories! Oh- did I fail to mention topping the night off by staying in a very "creaky", old, supposedly haunted mountain inn! We obviously made it..... Cooper had a great time on the train with his good buddy Kate! Logan actually stayed awake the whole time and did not start screaming until the very end! It was a good time!

Logan, Cooper, Kate and Jax all in matching PJ's!
Coop & Kate drinking cocoa and waiting for Santa!

And the big arrival! Coop was getting a little sleepy by this point...I believe it was around 9:45!

The Pink Pig!

We officially kicked off the holiday season today by taking Coop to ride the famous "Pink Pig" !! Off course, while we were there mommy had to check out the new PB kids store, but Coop didn't mind because he was atleast able to occupy his time by playing with the "big crane" ( a very cool toy, by the way!) The boys did ride in style while we were there....pretty cool, huh???? I must admit, I do think it is the greatest stroller ever!!

Halloween!

Well, Coop definitely enjoyed his first real trick-or-treating on Friday!! He was very into all the halloween festivities this year, including "cutting pumpkins", which he wanted to do every day the whole week before Halloween!! Logan and I stayed home and passsed out some candy, but of course he had to join in on the fun too, dressing up as a cute little puppy!! Of course I should mention that Coop did pick it out, because it looked like a baby Reef :) They were both too cute, and I should mention Coop has been enjoying all his Halloween candy every day!!!!

The Air Show!

The day finally arrived for the big air show! I think Justin and I were probably more excited to take Cooper than he was to actually go, but we knew this year he would enjoy going (atleast- we had hoped!) For the most part he did enjoy the day, other than when the F-18 flew by nearly breaking the sound barrier, and Cooper decided it was too loud and proceeded to hide underneath Daddy's chair. I can't say Logan was a real fan of the noise either, but he still slept through most of the day... except when big brother wanted to make sure baby Logan was watching all the planes too!! We actually got a great view of the F-18 taking off & landing, which Cooper and daddy both enjoyed, as you can see from the photos! Cooper's favorite, naturally, was the "jet truck", which is all he wanted to see the rest of the day! Although, when they got to pretend they were flying a blackhawk helicopter, he seemed to forget about the truck for a little while! We had such a great time checking out all the planes and helicopters all afternoon that Coop didn't even make it the 10 minute ride back home!!
This was just too sweet, so I had to include it!

Boys will be boys

This is what happens when mommy walks inside for two minutes!! By the way- it was a brand new outfit!

Time is flying.....

It's been nearly two months since we welcomed little Logan into this world, and life has been crazy and wonderful!! Needless to say, there is never a dull moment around here, but we are enjoying every minute! Cooper is a wonderful big brother, despite the few times of trying to "bang" baby Logan, or run him over with a "beep beep" (also known as bulldozers, tractors, etc....)! He does love to show his baby brother off though, as every time we pick him up from school he has to make sure his teachers and friends come and see "baby Logan"!
